Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers

I was watching the DVD this afternoon and thought I’d share… I know you can find it on the Internet (I pulled this one from Googlevideo), but another copy will not hurt.

It always makes me wonder why G. W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney are not in court and/or prison. For years I was proud of being an American. In less than four years, these men made me ashamed. They have disgraced and disfigured our country and we will feel the reprecussions for many, many years to come.

Isn’t it true that a captain is responsible for the actions that happen when he is in control of the ship? If so, then these “gentlemen” are responsible for the unfettered “theft” of American money, the deaths and murders of hundreds of Americans and Iraqi people, the torture and maiming of individuals for unspecified and highly questionable “crimes,” disregard for the needs of the American and Iraqi countries, mistreatment and disrespect for American soldiers, and numerous other crimes. What a black mark on the history of America.

But, as you know, the Bush’s and his like do not care what we really think; they made BILLIONS from the war. They just insulate themselves and plead ignorance…

Who is the Real Terrorist? Why the U.S. Government of Course…

Is the U.S. the World’s Largest State Sponsor of Terrorism?

Preface: As someone who was born in America and has lived here my whole life, and who loves the ideals and Constitution our country was founded on, it has been a rude and painful awakening to learn about my government’s terrorist acts.

I believe that, if the American public knew what crimes the government was carrying out, they would not stand for it.

Four headlines this week make it clear that America may be the world’s largest sponsor of terrorism:

• “Iran … to sue U.S. . . . over mosque blast“

• “Neo-Con General Calls For Terror Attacks In Iran“

• “Iran Intercepts U.S. Terrorists Plotting Attack on Russian Consulate“

• “Rumsfeld On Tape: Terror Attack Could Restore Neo-Con Agenda“

This is on top of previous stories showing that Cheney is directly funding terrorist groups out of his office, and that the U.S. is funding terrorists all over the world to promote its agenda. See also this, this and this.

And Americans dressed as Arabs have apparently been setting off car bombs in Iraq (when it was discovered that some of the cars used in Iraqi bombings recently came from the U.S., the cover story seemed to become that American cars were involved in car bombings only because they had recently been stolen from the U.S. and then shipped to Iraq — but does it make sense that Iraqi insurgents would steal cars in the U.S. and ship them all the way to Iraq?)

Unfortunately, this involvement in terrorism is not unique to the Bush administration:

• As documented by the New York Times, Iranians working for the C.I.A. in the 1950’s posed as Communists and staged bombings in Iran in order to turn the country against its democratically-elected president (see also this essay)

• As confirmed by a former Italian Prime Minister, an Italian judge, and the former head of Italian counterintelligence, NATO, with the help of the Pentagon and CIA, carried out terror bombings in Italy and blamed the communists, in order to rally people’s support for their governments in Europe in their fight against communism. As one participant in this formerly-secret program stated: “You had to attack civilians, people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple. They were supposed to force these people, the Italian public, to turn to the state to ask for greater security.”

No wonder the former director of the National Security Agency said “By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in violation”(the audio is here).

So next time the warmongers accuse a foreign country of sponsoring terrorism, remind them that – even if that is true – the U.S. is the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.

In addition to being the leading sponsor of terrorism, the U.S. is also the largest purveyor of disinformation and propaganda in the world. Gangsters like Al Capone would be astonished at how successfully the American public has been fooled as to the nature of their government’s actions.

As one of the leading American media critics says:

“Little has been done to address the astonishing ignorance of Americans regarding the US role in the world, [including] the extensive use of terrorism by the United States . . . .”

9/11: Press for Truth

The events of September 11, 2001 in New York City have not only shaken a city, it has shaken a country and the world. People have been demanding to know what really happened that day, the day known as 9/11.

9/11: Press for Truth is a must see movie about the lies, deceptions and cover-ups behind 9/11 and the subsequent ‘investigations’ purportedly undertaken by the US government to solve the disaster and capture the criminals.

In the movie you meet The Jersey Girls, four widows who lost their husbands in the WTC buildings, who joined together, first due to loss and unanswered questions and then to press the USG for a thorough investigation into the incidents surrounding the day of 9/11. Due to their perseverance and dedication, ultimately, the 9/11 commission was formed.

However, their triumph was short-lived after the commission released its report and they realized that the cover-ups and lies were continuing. The 9/11 commission report left more questions unanswered and spun more stories than had existed before.

The madness of lies and deceit perpetuated by the Bush administration are astounding and this movie does a good job of showing how really deceitful they are…

We are still waiting for the US government to tell us what happened, to solve the crime and to bring forth the criminals.

Wexler Confronts Condi on War Lies; Demands Contempt Vote

This man should be given a lot of credit for standing up and speaking out, seemingly alone, against all the blatant Washington corruption and lies. Give him whatever support you can.

An email received from Robert Wexler:

Today, in hearings on Capitol Hill, I confronted Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on her role in the lies, exaggerations, and misdirection that led us into the Iraq war.

During my questioning, Secretary Rice falsely stated that she never saw intelligence casting doubt on the Bush Administration claims that Saddam possessed weapons of mass destruction. This unbelievable statement is flatly contradicted by numerous government reports and CIA testimonials. (To watch the video of my exchange with Secretary Rice, click here.)

Secretary Rice’s responses demonstrate once and for all that we need aggressive oversight over this out of control Administration. Unfortunately, the Bush Administration has ignored the constitutional right of Congress to provide such oversight.

It is time Congress took aggressive action to assert our rights on behalf of the American people.

The House of Representatives must immediately hold former White House Counsel Harriet Miers and White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten in contempt of Congress for their failure to respond to congressional subpoenas.

I have been aggressively lobbying Members of Congress to support a vote on contempt, and I am thrilled to report that Speaker Pelosi told me directly that she agrees it is well past time to vote on contempt. I am anticipating that the House will shortly vote on resolutions of both civil and criminal contempt for both Miers and Bolten.

No one should be immune from accountability and the rule of law.

Not Harriet Miers or Josh Bolten.

And especially not Condoleezza Rice, George W. Bush or Dick Cheney.

It is time to defend the Constitution and our rights as a co-equal branch of government.

I will continue to take on the Bush Administration for their outrageous abuses just as I confronted Condoleezza Rice today and Attorney General Mukasey last week. (Click here to see my questioning of Mukasey.)

With your help we will hold these top Bush officials in contempt and continue our efforts to hold impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick Cheney.

America ceased to be free when it replaced Democracy, responsibility and true freedom with security and then exported it to countries like Pakistan under the guise of Democracy thus beginning the slow descent to a plutocracy and total loss of freedom. Wexler’s Call for Impeachment: Keep Spreading the Message

As we prepare to celebrate the New Year, my resolution is to hold George Bush and Dick Cheney accountable for their abuses of power. In the last days, we have made real progress:

The mainstream media has awakened to this movement and to the extraordinary support you have given it. Your calls, letters, and emails have clearly made a difference. Already 140,000 people have joined us in demanding impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick Cheney by signing up at WexlerWantsHearings.com.

The power of these combined voices are already shaking up the established order on Capitol Hill and throughout the mainstream media:

This week, the Miami Herald printed an article on our efforts that was syndicated in papers across the country, including the Detroit Free Press, Philadelphia Inquirer, Fort Worth Telegram, Contra Costa Times, Sacramento Bee, Houston Chronicle, Chicago Tribune, NC News & Observer, and others. Already we are seeing tangible results from our combined effort. As you already know, Congress is well behind the American people on this issue. This is an uphill battle, but it’s one that has to be fought. It should not be the whole agenda, but it needs be *on* the agenda.

I will go to more of my colleagues and ask them to join a letter in support of hearings. We will build on the momentum you have given us.

Former Reagan Official: Bush Preparing for Another 9/11

This article is 5 months old and it discusses how this next attack will be within one year. As some of us have been speculating it is most likely going to be nuclear in nature. New drivers license requirements are to go into effect in 5/08 with the RFID chip and human implantation to follow close behind. Blackwater is taking up position, as well. We are getting ominously close to Armageddon and I believe this will be our last ‘free’ Christmas…

White House preparing to stage new September 11 – Reagan official

WASHINGTON, July 20 (RIA Novosti) – A former Reagan official has issued a public warning that the Bush administration is preparing to orchestrate a staged terrorist attack in the United States, transform the country into a dictatorship and launch a war with Iran within a year.

Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, blasted Thursday a new Executive Order, released July 17, allowing the White House to seize the assets of anyone who interferes with its Iraq policies and giving the government expanded police powers to exercise control in the country.

Roberts, who spoke on the Thom Hartmann radio program, said: “When Bush exercises this authority [under the new Executive Order], there’s no check to it. So it really is a form of total, absolute, one-man rule.”

“The American people don’t really understand the danger that they face,” Roberts said, adding that the so-called neoconservatives intended to use a renewal of the fight against terrorism to rally the American people around the fading Republican Party.

Old-line Republicans like Roberts have become increasingly disenchanted with the neoconservative politics of the Bush administration, which they see as a betrayal of fundamental conservative values.

According to a July 9-11 survey by Ipsos, an international public opinion research company, President Bush and the Republicans can claim a mere 31 percent approval rating for their handling of the Iraq war and 38 percent for their foreign policy in general, including terrorism.

“The administration figures themselves and prominent Republican propagandists … are preparing us for another 9/11 event or series of events,” he said. “You have to count on the fact that if al Qaeda is not going to do it, it is going to be orchestrated.”

Roberts suggested that in the absence of a massive popular outcry, only the federal bureaucracy and perhaps the military could put constraints on Bush’s current drive for a fully-fledged dictatorship.

“They may have had enough. They may not go along with it,” he said.

The radio interview was a follow-up to Robert’s latest column, in which he warned that “unless Congress immediately impeaches Bush and Cheney, a year from now the U.S. could be a dictatorial police state at war with Iran.”

Roberts, who has been dubbed the “Father of Reaganomics” and has recently gained popularity for his strong opposition to the Bush administration and the Iraq War, regularly contributes articles to Creators Syndicate, an independent distributor of comic strips and syndicated columns for daily newspapers.

The New World Order and Blackwater Worldwide

Blackwater Worldwide is the new peace-keeping force for the U.N. Now if you have stopped laughing we need to look at this very seriously..

The U.N. is a front organization for our new ‘government/masters’ – seriously – ‘hide everything in plain sight’ – I’m sure you have heard that adage before. I am not going to cite anything here you have to do your own digging…

Now consider just what you DO know about Blackwater:

1. They are mercenaries.
2. They kill for money.
3. They kill on command.
4. They are merciless.
5. They are remorseless.
6. They protect government officials of a particularly stature.
7. They now have equipment to ‘serve’ from air, land and sea.

Some of their equipment includes: a fleet of fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, dirigibles, helicopters, a host of vehicles, and a bomb-resistant vehicle affectionately called Grizzly. Erik Prince, founder, is currently working to get Grizzly approved to operate on U.S. highways.

From Singularity, Peacekeepers:

§ Blackwater affiliate Greystone Ltd., registered offshore in Barbados, is an old-fashioned mercenary operation offering “personnel from the best militaries throughout the world” for hire by governments and private organizations. It also boasts of a “multi-national peacekeeping program,” with forces “specializing in crowd control and less than lethal techniques and military personnel for the less stable areas of operation.”

§ Prince’s Total Intelligence Solutions, headed by three CIA veterans (among them Blackwater’s number two, Cofer Black*), puts CIA-type services on the open market for hire by corporations or governments.

§ Blackwater’s aviation division has some forty aircraft, including turboprop planes that can be used for unorthodox landings**. It has ordered a Super Tucano paramilitary plane from Brazil, which can be used in counterinsurgency operations. In August the aviation division won a $92 million contract with the Pentagon to operate flights in Central Asia.

§ It recently flight-tested the unmanned Polar 400 airship, which may be marketed to the Department of Homeland Security for use in monitoring the US-Mexico border and to “military, law enforcement, and non-government customers.”

§ A fast-growing maritime division has a new, 184-foot vessel that has been fitted for potential paramilitary use…

*Suggestion: Learn more about Cofer Black. **Cheney made a statement that ultra light aircraft is great for enforcing martial law (sorry can’t find the quote).

And Blackwater’s primary purpose? To protect the elitist and follow orders. Period. Get the picture?

So that’s just a tad of information about these boys who are strapped to the hilt with weapons and have done some pretty God awful things in Iraq and Afghanistan, and looks like New Orleans too, and nothing is done. Why? Because they are following orders.

Now if you don’t know much about them and/or you still think that they are distant from ‘your world’ I suggest you better start learning some information fast because they are going to be the ones coming around to your door gathering up the guns and weapons you have or don’t have when the boom falls. And from what I’ve read they don’t care much WHO you are if you are not one of the ‘masters.’

Wexler Wants Hearings: The Push to Impeach Cheney

Representative Robert Wexler has been trying to gain momentum on a proposal to impeach Dick Cheney. He went to major newspapers – such as the New York Times, Washington Post and Miami Herald – to gain some exposure but was turned down. Undaunted, he turned to the Internet.

WexlerWantsHearings.com was launched yesterday and its main focus is to impeach Dick Cheney. In the opening of the site it reads:
“Following the release of an online op-ed advocating for Cheney impeachment hearings by Representatives Robert Wexler (D-FL), Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), all Members of the House Judiciary Committee, Wexler has launched an ambitious online effort to mobilize support for immediate impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick Cheney.”

I think people are learning from Ron Paul that there is much to be gained from the Internet!

I have joined the Wexler website and added my name as one who would love to see Cheney impeached. However, I do not see any place that gives any indication of how many have signed on, like a running counter. I know that people like to have the thrill of watching how many are putting their name to Cheney’s ticker… I’ll keep looking.
