I do not support our government’s secret detention programs, it’s torture of prisoners in Guantanamo and in prisons around the world, it’s promulgation of racial and ethnic discrimination, nor it’s methods of instilling fear in the people of America by using the “war on terror” as it’s excuse.
I felt it was time to take a stand and say NO I didn’t sign up for any of this and I will not endorse it. So I took my name off the list – I unsubscribed.
Amnesty International has started a movement to send out a strong message that human rights violations must end.
So far 172250+ people have agreed, joined up and said NO to the war on terror.
And the movement is growing rapidly with lots of groups and organizations forming internationally, locally and across the net.
Maybe you feel the same way…
